Politically, the government of England can be described as Parliamentary Monarchy. Although the queen is the head of the state, it is the parliament which has all the political powers. The queen is just the titular head. The king or the queen is the head of the Church of England, Church of Scotland, judiciary, ministers of the cabinet and is the commander in chief of the army. However, the main responsibility and power of ruling the country lies in the collective hands of the legislature, executive and judiciary. The government of England is democratic.
